Two men stand on a wooden derrick, arms crossed, posed for the photograph, 1920s. The print is a photograph of a photograph. On the original, the left man is labeled in black pen "L." or "S." "Mounci," and the right man "J.E.J.," who is James "Cotton" Johnson, the uncle of the donor. The original has some staining on it and the duplicate is torn in a few places. |
